I read this book in its entirety in one day – it only took the 2 legs of my commute to work, 35 minutes a piece, to complete it. All My Friends are Superheroes by Andrew Kaufman (Literary Fiction). It is the most wonderfully quirky and heart-warming story I've read in a long while. But yesterday I recieved a present in the mail from one of my mates in the UK, Henry. And the fact that she cannot see him. Best book of my 2012: “All My Friends Are Superheroes” by Canadian filmmaker Andrew Kaufman. Tom the Torontonian married the love of his life, a woman who happens to be a superhero – “The Perfectionist” (aka Perf). All My Friends Are Superheroes. There is nothing special about Tom. I've been freelance copyediting and proofreading for nine years, almost ten, now, and it's taken me this long to realize what it's really about.
